The end of the year has always been a time of reflection for me. I like to close old cycles and recharge with positive energy. This was a year with a lot of changes for me, a window full of opportunities. I am ready to begin an enlightened new chapter in my life. Growth implies flexibility and the ability to adapt to new experiences, adventures, and projects. The important thing is to never stop learning!
The coming of a new year symbolizes a beginning, renovation and a special moment for reflection. In the end, change is meant to help us grow and it forces us to work on inner selves. When everything changes, we ourselves must change and flow, as there is no way of stopping time. Trying to take control of change is a contradicting effort that wears us down and uses up the energy we need for adaption.
My advice is to avoid the anxiety caused by changes and to respect the process without trying to resist or control it. We don’t have to be resentful, angry, or frustrated about change. Remember that new beginnings bring hope and opportunity.
Try to envision moments of change as a challenge. Only by facing challenges will you be able to see what you are made of, and how brave you can be. You are capable of anything you set your mind to, if you are honest with yourself. Remember that change begins within yourself.
Don’t forget to write down your New Year’s resolutions for 2018. You have 365 days to make them happen. It is important that you set clear goals and that you are disciplined about reaching them. Make an introspective analysis of yourself so that you may understand who you are, and what you want to accomplish. My resolution is to continue growing so that I can be more to do more.
Let yourself be surprised, don’t be afraid of the unknown! It is right there, outside your comfort zone, where the best things happen. Face change with an open, hopeful heart.
I wish you to start this new year feeling grateful for what you have lived in the past, and feeling ready to embrace what is yet to come. I am grateful because you have become part of my life, and of this beautiful project called A Complete.
